The Understated Artist
You've gotta love the mystery, genius and security of our Creator. Unlike the vast majority of us (no offense intended), He feels no need to scrawl his signature upon his daily creations. Imagine if every sunrise or sunset appeared with His signature or a p.s saying "I made this". Imagine if every newborn entered the world with heavens trademark on their rosy bottom or with a tag attached "made in My image". Imagine if every new shoot or blossom or succulent new fruit emerged with an extra appendage proclaiming its origin.
I love that God has a mysterious side. I love that He is secure in His Sovereignty. I love that He is so uncommon... so uncommon and precious that it makes Him so worthy to be sought after. And yet, I love that He is so EASILY found, so easily obvious to the enquiring, searching, eyes wide open soul. His heavens declare His glory, His creations scream His existence, His art, His signature, His hand, His heart are everywhere.
Oh that the world would just open their eyes.

Thanks for beauty on the Father's handiwork. Observing the moon of the night and diamonds of stars shining so bright, I marvel at his flawless perfection. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place. Excellent are his ways. When the dawn is rises, he design colors mixed from the hues of his fingers.. Ps 8.1 O LORD, our LORD, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Beautiful and perfection belongs our Father, who's love is unconditional...
