April Catch Up

in

Hey there,

Been thinking heaps about you all. Trusting you are all well, that you had a beautiful Easter and that each day or week is traversing you further into His goodness. Its also been Easter school holidays (Spring Break in other parts of the world), so if you have been blessed with some precious "time out", hope you are refreshed.

Bobbie speakingAs many of you know, COLOUR is or has become something of a global movement and at the end of this month we have the LONDON & KIEV conferences happening. I've been loading some countdown twitters with some intentional prayer points. Europe is a complex world. It boasts centuries of history, drama and wonder. There are churches and cathedrals scattered far and wide, many of which are now simply beautiful structures bearing testimony to an era passed. Orthodox religion is strong and embedded for many, whilst multitudes are completely "ignorant" of their spiritual origin. These realities can either sadden or inspire us. Personally, I believe God has a plan for the entire earth ... Their hearts and homes, friends and families, streets and suburbs are as equally important to God as ours are ... so I covet your prayers as we seek to gather the daughters in Europe to inspire them to greatness, faith, hope and love.

The fundamental needs of the human heart are the same the world over, which makes The Sisterhood so relevant and powerful. For many of our Northern Hemisphere sisters to know that a "global Sisterhood" exists and that they believe in them and are praying for them, creates a confidence and hope that we can so easily under-estimate. I will NEVER forget the Russian speaking women (a few years ago), literally "lifting in their countenance and stance" when I told them that there were sisters believing in and praying for them ... & then when I said that "God wants THEM to also rise up, so that they can believe in others waiting in THEIR future" ... well, it was a moment where something spiritual shifted. The power of "belief" is pretty strong eh.

Okay, I need to stop, but great praise reports and emails are pouring in from the Sydney gathering. And there has been an astounding response to "the Sisterhood BE THE CHANGE morning"... One praise report I can bring, is that over 16,000 hygiene items were generously given, enabling us (you and I together) to partner with the Salvation Army and bless the homeless in Sydney. Infact, they've asked if we'd like to help them distribute, which is such an honour. So THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU! And once we have London & Kiev under our belt, we will collate as many of the wonderful stats and praise reports as we can and let ya know the "good story".

Network Breakfast

NETWORK High Tea at my house, Colour Conference Two.

Marilyn and Watato are also thrilled with response re: the "surgeries" ... For your info, the Colour Sisterhood are navigating these for Watoto (so they can concentrate on what they need to do on the ground there), so channel your BE THE CHANGE efforts through the Colour Sisterhood Foundation, then we can combine everyone's efforts effectively for Marilyn. Apparently there are some Ugandan legal parameters about disclosing war-victim information (which is understandable) but as much as possible, we will give you updates on the women being helped (always remember, East Africa comes with all sorts of different complexities and I think Marilyn and the team accomplish astounding things in a post-war, traumatised developing environment).

Okay, be blessed And if you were at Colour last month be bold to use this years "gift" for the purpose it was given ...

... Great, wonderful, wondrous, exciting, hilarious, heaven-breathed stories are going to unfold over the next 12 months through a cute little teapot and cup ... of this I am confident.

We love you, believe in you, and I'll see ya in my next email/blog/or whatever ...

Love, Bobbie

Your Testimonies

Hi Bobbie I was at the 2010 Color Conference - wow! Do you girls know how to do it or what! It was my first time and I so enjoyed the teaching and the fellowship. I loved how you and your team have perfected the organisation of the Conference - the detail, the gift! What a treat! Bobbie I totally fell in love with you and your naturalness and your zany sense of humour. I loved your passion for our Lord and 'your girls' and for the vision He has given you. Something like 10,000 women was challenging for me as big crowds of women are really not my thing, BUT I was blessed and came away with a vision to help the 'Nancy' women who have been so brutally mutilated- the seed has been planted and altho I have not yet progressed past the vision, I am asking the Lord to show me how to bring about the means to get a group of ladies involved - like I said, groups of women are not my thing.......until now? Enuf about me - I have been searching the website and I cannot find out how to purchase the DVD set from the Conference. Would it be possible to add that as a separate 'drop-down' option? Bless you With love Pauline
